Study Confirms Correlation between Common Bacteria and Eczema

Results published in British Journal of Dermatology study.

A study published in the British Journal of Dermatology has shown that, on average, 70% of eczema patients are colonized with Staphylococcus aureus bacteria (S. aureus, including MRSA) on their skin lesions. Patients with more severe disease had a greater risk of being colonized.
